The Asian Media Information Centre (AMIC), formerly based in Singapore, has now its Secretariat in Manila, hosted by the consortium of The Asian Institute of Journalism and Communications (AIJC) and the Philippine Women’s University (PWU). The first Meeting of the Board of Managers was held last March 23, 2015 at PWU.

AMIC. founded in 1971 is an independent, non-profit organization with the mission of “spearheading the development of media and communication expertise in Asia and the Pacific within a broad framework of economic, social and cultural development”.
