PWU School of Music will hold a Philippine Music Workshop on May 25th & May 26th for teachers and students. Hands-on playing of bamboo instruments and gongs from the Cordillera and Mindanao will be taught including some ethnic dances. Workshop fee is 400 pesos per day which starts at 10:00 am until 4:00pm. Fee includes hand-outs. PWU Ethnomusicology faculty namely Dr. Kristina Benitez, Lilymae Franco-Montano and Earl Jimenez will conduct the 2-day workshop. PWU music students who enrolled in the Third Trimester are welcome to attend for free.
