Future Thought Leaders

Posted: July 15, 2015

PWU students identified as “future thought leaders” by their Deans were recently invited to attend “Crafting Chapters and Lessons in Thought Leadership” organized by the First Pacific Leadership Academy.

FPLA is the dedicated corporate university of the MVP Group. This is the second year of FPLA’s “celebration of Filipino giftedness” showcasing achievers from various fields to inspire students to raise above mediocrity and strive to be leaders. This year, the students heard several presentations including talks by chef-restaurateur Margarita Fores, Gilas Pilipinas team captain Jimmy Alapag, Ramon Magsaysay awardee Randy Halasan and eco-tourism entrepreneur Bryan Benitez-McClelland (who arranged for the 40 PWU students to be invited to the event held on July 10, 2015 at the Meralco Theater in Pasig City).

PWU students selected for the event came from the School of International Relations and Diplomacy, the Conrado Benitez Institute for Business Education and the School of Medical Technology.
