Office the President Memo #028 - SY 2015-2016

Proclamation Number 1072 from Malacañang declared November 18 and 19 as special non-working days in National Capital Region in relation to the 2015 Asia-Pacific Economic Conference, which is being hosted by the Philippines. Pursuant to this, CHED and DepEd declared the suspension of classes in Metro Manila for 4 days - from November 17 (Tuesday) to 20 (Friday).

In connection with this, offices both in the Manila and Quezon City campuses will be closed from November 16-20, 2015. The 3 days without work (Nov. 16, 17 and 20) will be charged against the vacation leaves of each employee.

With reference to Memo #028 APEC 2015, there will also be no classes and offices on Saturday, November 21, 2015.

Submission of vacation leave forms are encouraged for proper documentation. “No work, no pay” policy still applies to contractual/part-time/non-tenured personnel.
