The Philippine Women’s University’s Food Technology (BSFT) and Hotel and Restaurant Management (BSHRM) programs were recently visited for evaluation by accreditors from the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACUCOA) resulting in PWU’s receiving Level III Accreditation for its BSFT and BSHRM programs. BSFT Dean Dr. Ligaya Braganza welcomed the PACUCOA visitors to the PWU Taft Avenue campus. They met with university officials and later toured the campus where they observed classes and interviewed administrators, faculty and students to verify compliance with their earlier recommendations. They also visited PWU’s community outreach program in Tondo. Dr. Ma. Lourdes Catral, Dean PWU’s BSHRM Program said, “Level III accreditation demonstrates PWU’s determination to advance academic goals set by President Francisco Benitez. We are happy to do our share in reaching these goals.”
