Shell Drift

Posted: April 12, 2016

The PWU Community is cordially invited to “Shell Drift” an exhibit of cast sculpture and masks from the Materials 2 class under Salvador Joel Alonday, featuring on-site murals by Elijah Abad and Iñigo Diaz.

Like drifted shells washed ashore, the discord of plates in varying degrees of success unite as a symphony with the flow of figurative and abstract forms on the gallery wall. “Shell Drift” attests to art as a process of transfer and transformation.

The exhibit opens on Tuesday, April 12 at 5:30pm, and will be on view most weekdays until May 15, 2016 at the SFAD Studio Gallery on PWU Leon Guinto Street Wing.
