Solidarity in Performance at PWU

The collective project Solidarity in Performance (SIPAF) 2017 will conduct its school tour and performance actions on Peace at the Philippine Women’s University’s Taft Ave. campus on Friday, September 15 from 1:00pm to 4:45pm

“SIPAF 2017” features Alumni artists Noel Soler Cuizon and Jef Carnay who will welcome Eric Scott Nelson (USA), Graciela Overejo Postigo (Argentina), Eidglas Xavier (Brazil), Seiji Shimoda (Japan), He Libin (China) along with Filipino performance artists Eisa Jocson, Boyet de Mesa and members of Daloy Dance Company and Maharlika Dance Artists in an afternoon of performance art pieces starting at the PWU’s School of Fine Arts and Design’s central space at the 4th Floor and culminating with an artists’ talk and forum at the SFAD JCB Studio Gallery from 4:45 to 6:00pm on September 15.

The event will be moderated by Davidson Oliveros, Chief of Drama and Dance for the Theatre House of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) and Karen Ocampo Flores, Faculty/Curator of the PWU-SFAD JCB Studio Gallery.
