UNICORP galvanizes the PWU community for “Ompong” victims

Posted: September 21, 2018

The PWU community was quick to respond to the call for donations for the victims of Typhoon Ompong, the strongest cyclone to hit the country this year. Within a period of 48 hours, UNICORP was able to consolidate 20 boxes of relief goods donated by the students, faculty, and staff of PWU. These donations were turned over to SAGIP KAPAMILYA last September 19 by the UNICORP team headed by PSSW Program Chair Evelyn Valencia. Mr. Robert Gaborni, Warehouse Officer of SAGIP KAPAMILYA, said that the relief goods donated by PWU will immediately be delivered to communities in Benguet that were hardest hit by the typhoon.
