Indonesian Batik Making and Culinary Session slated at PWU

The PWU-Center for Culture, Arts, Music and Sports (CCAMS) in cooperation with the Indonesian Embassy will hold Indonesia, Yang Indah! (Beautiful Indonesia) on May 29, 2019 at 1:30 pm at PWU Manila. Dr. Suzie Benitez, CCAMS Director, said the activity is part of the continuing celebration of PWU Centennial in partnership with various institutions and cultural organizations.

This time, participants will experience Indonesia’s Batik-Making (traditional fabric) techniques and flavorful culinary journey to be conducted by teachers from the Embassy of Indonesia. The batik-making session will be held at the Conrado Benitez Hall while the culinary sessions at the Noel B. Benitez Hall.
