2019 World Pharmacy Day

The School of Pharmacy and the Federation of the Junior chapters of the Philippine Pharmacists Association-Eta chapter (FJCPPhA) celebrated World Pharmacists Day with the theme “Philwomenian Future Pharmacist: Allegiance to Promoting and Ensuring Safe and Effective Medicines For All” last September 23, 2019 at the Conrado Benitez Hall.

Jover Francisco, Senior Technical Adviser, USAID Medicines, Technologies and Pharmaceutical Services (MTPhS) Program Management Sciences for Health Inc. lectured on the Challenges of Medication Safety while Prof. Mark Ryan Langit, Saint Louis University talked on Promoting and Ensuring Safe and Quality Medications for All.

Program Chair Mark Harvey Adamson took the occasion to launch the Gawad Dr. Clara Aragon-Villanueva, Search for Outstanding PWU School of Pharmacy Alumni. The event was attended by PWU Acting President Marco Benitez, Chancellor and SVPAA Dr. Felina C. Young and former Dean Dr. Zenaida Sadiwa.
