Peripatetic: Practical Lessons on Leadership

Dr. Ronnie Amorado, author of “Kakistocracy” spoke to the Philippine Women’s University community last October 19, 2019 in a leadership forum entitled “Peripatetic: Practical Lessons on Leadership.” He also launched his latest book, with the same title, at the forum.

The forum discussed leadership and management principles in all types of companies and how leaders can stay close to the principled path of leadership through attention to character and thoughtful action.

Dr. Amorado was a Hubert H. Humphrey fellow in the United States, where he did his post-doctorate research at the Maxwell School of Citizenship in Syracuse University, New York. He received the “Outstanding Book Award” for his book “Fixing Society” from the National Academy of Science and Technology in 2008

The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) invites the PWU community to a talk on leadership styles and principles by Dr. Ronnie V. Amorado on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 9AM at the Conrado Benitez Hall.

Dr. Amorado is the author of Kakistocracy: Rule of the Unprincipled, Unethical and Unqualified and its sequel Peripatetic, Practical Lessons in Leadership, which will also be launched during the event. Copies of the book will be sold at a discounted price of Php450.00.

The activity is part of the Training and Development Program of HRMO.
