School of Food Tech hosts webinar on the food industry in challenging times

The School of Food Science and Technology Graduate Studies will conduct a Webinar Series on October 15 and 16, 2020 entitled “Unveiled: The Food Industry in Challenging Times” on Facebook Live via PWU.OfficialFanpage.

The webinar series will tackle the current situation of the food industry in this pandemic and its resilience to the new normal:

  • Session 1 In Transition: Food Safety in the Food Chain (October 15, 2020, 9:00 AM-12:00 NN)
  • Session 2 Innovations of Food Service in the Present Time (October 15, 2020, 2:00-4:30 PM)
  • Session 3 Today x Future: Adapting to the New Normal in the Food Industry (October 16, 2020, 9:00 AM-12:00 NN)

The event is part of the SFT Graduate students’ requirements on Current Issues and Trends in Food Science and Safety Management under Professors Ma. Divina D. Alcasabas and Rosalinda R. Lorilla.
