- As the Government continues to maintain the General Community
Quarantine (GCQ) protocol over Metro Manila, the University
remains under Phase 2: Skeletal Workforce of our transition plan,
where key employees necessary to provide student services, such as
the Registrar’s office, Finance/Accounting, Administration,
etc. are reporting on-campus.
- As such, while we still highly encourage enrollment and other
student services to be done primarily online
in-campus student services shall be open subject to the strict
health and safety protocols being implemented.
- Please note, individuals below 21 years of age shall still be
prohibited from entering our campuses and must
send their parent/guardian with an authorization letter and their
valid ID. Moreover, we are implementing a strict temperature and
health assessment checklist prior to entering the campus, and only
a limited number of visitors shall be allowed to enter at any
given time. Thus, we still highly encourage the use of our online
portal for enrollment and payments.

Once again, I would like to thank the PWU community – faculty,
employees, parents, students and alumni – for their continued
patience and support. This has been a very challenging time for all
of us, but the hard work, commitment, and resiliency of each member
of the community are what have allowed us to stand firm on our
commitment to deliver the PWU standard of education in this new normal.
Now, more than ever, we must remain vigilant and adhere to the
health and safety protocols being implemented by the government,
particularly in this time of reopening. Let us listen only and share
information from reliable sources, and as much as possible, let us
take care of our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
May you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy.
Marco Alfredo M. Benitez
