Mission
PWU–CDCEC, Sta. Cruz is an educational institution that produces globally competitive graduates who are skillful, knowledgeable and God-fearing professionals through its competency–based programs and higher education courses. It shall thrive in providing its personnel with a work environment that will make them competent, conscientious and devoted to the institution.
Senior High School
Academic Track
The ABM strand emphasizes practical business skills and prepares students for the rigors of college coursework in business and economics. It covers a broad range of subjects, including the basics of accounting, business math, economics, management, and entrepreneurship, as well as more specialized topics such as marketing, finance, and business law.
The STEM Strand in Senior High School focuses on developing learners’ skills and knowledge in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This strand is designed for students who have a strong interest in these areas and want to pursue careers in fields such as engineering, medicine, research, technology, and more.
The HUMSS Strand in Senior High School is designed to equip learners with critical thinking, communication, and research skills that are relevant in a range of academic and professional contexts. This strand focuses on the study of human society and culture, and explores various disciplines including anthropology, sociology, psychology, economics, political science, history, and literature.
Offers a broad curriculum, covering a wide range of subjects including humanities, business, and science. This strand is versatile and provides flexibility for students exploring various career paths in college or work.
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Track
Provides knowledge and skills for the hospitality industry, including hotel management, food and beverage service, and customer relations. Ideal for students interested in hotel management or culinary arts.
Focuses on the tourism industry, teaching students about travel management, tour guiding, and tourism marketing. This strand is suited for those interested in working in travel agencies, tour companies, and tourist destinations.
The ICT Strand in Senior High School is designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge in the field of Information Technology. This strand is intended for students who are interested in pursuing careers in the digital world, such as software programming, web development, and data analytics.
College
The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program prepares students for successful careers in the dynamic hospitality industry. This comprehensive curriculum covers essential topics such as hotel and restaurant management, event planning, tourism, and service excellence.
The program combines theoretical knowledge and practical skills in areas such as tourism marketing, hospitality management, travel and tour operations, event planning, sustainable tourism, and customer service. BSTM graduates are prepared for careers in various sectors of the tourism industry, including travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, resorts, and government tourism organizations.
Students gain skills in programming, database management, cybersecurity, systems analysis, and IT project management. The program prepares graduates for careers in the rapidly evolving tech industry, with roles such as software developers, IT support specialists, network administrators, and data analysts. The degree combines technical expertise with practical problem-solving skills to address the growing demands of the digital world.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Financial Management provides students with a solid foundation in business principles while focusing on the financial aspects of organizations. This program covers essential topics such as investment analysis, corporate finance, financial markets, and risk management.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing Management equips students with the skills to develop and implement effective marketing strategies in today’s dynamic business environment. This program covers essential topics such as consumer behavior, market research, branding, digital marketing, and sales management.
